this painting is comprised of 130 different pieces of plywood, mostly squares. i painted them in collaboration with 50+ child patients and their families from June to September 2019. after all the animals and most of the background was finished by the participants, i re-assembled the squares back into the!r original order, and gave them some finishing touches to tie it all together!
